LockCircle just announced the New LockPort5 which is here to solve all your miniHDMI troubles. Recently at the shop we had an HDMI port go sour on one of our 5D MkII which was replaced through Canon CPS for around $120, it probably could have been prevented with a LockPort. This device requires a RedRock DSLR Clamp to mount the LockPort5. The 5 stands for the 5D model and soon a 7D model will be available. This little tool will set you back $100. If I still bothered with DSLR and wasn’t using a Contineo Cage, it would be a part of my kit. I really love that they ditched the miniHDMI cause that port is the devil.
